The Granite Couple Rain Effect water feature is a striking piece. It depicts a couple in an embrace with one another, foreheads touching as they are caught in a sweet moment.
A teardrop shaped hole has been cut out of the middle of the feature, and here is where the water feature is held. The falling water pours from the top of the tear-shape and runs in small thin streams. As they hit the rippled side of the feature, these streams mimic the sound of falling rain. The water gathers at the bottom of the tear shape and into a small pool, causing a trickling sound as the running streams hit the pool.
The polyresin used in the making of this feature has been made to take the form of two different shades of stone, with both smooth and rough surfaces. The two colours meet in the middle of the front of the feature. Small stainless steel shapes have been placed to add more detail to the piece.
